Durham Senior Games

2010 Durham Senior Games Brochure

Many Durham Senior Games athletes and artists qualified for the state finals. Congratulations to the Durham winners. Let’s wish them well as they compete for the North Carolina Senior Games State Finals September 27 - October 3, 2010. For a schedule of the NC Senior Games visit, the website.

Durham Parks and Recreation is excited about the 2011 Durham Senior Games! Every spring, this two-week event highlights fitness of body, mind, and spirit, as well as providing our seniors the opportunity to enjoy themselves, meet other people, and show off their talents. Whether you are an athlete, an artist, or both, your participation in Durham Senior Games is wanted.

The Opening Ceremony and SilverArts Showcase will kick-off the games with art displays, performers, and refreshments. The Closing Ceremony will celebrate all of the accomplishments that the athletes and artists have displayed throughout the Games. Both events are wonderful fun, so make plans to join us next spring!

Durham Senior Games would not be as successful without the assistance of some exceptional partners. We're grateful to have relationships with so many representatives of Durham. Visit their Web sites and see all that they do:
